What can be more satisfying than building something from nothing? Conceiving its rebirth. That's what we did with the redesign concept for the Natural Science Museum in Turin. Teaching and entertainment are fused in a single nucleus in which nature has pride of place. It grabs anyone in range. An entire mini-world with vegetable themed walls and ceilings. Wall and floor mounted multimedia systems carry the sound design. Wild flower and true grass greens come together with play-safe rubber hills, wooden seats, a projection area and soft spherical lighting. Everything is made to calm and yet stimulate all five senses. A space to enthral visitors and help them forget the city outside.
